You know at Pritchett's Small Pets we are farmers ourselves. We were in need of a few saddles for our hens. One of our Rhodebar roosters was a little bit over excited and wouldn't leave them alone. We looked for someone to make some and found some local farmers not too far from our own farm that made the cutest chicken saddles. We want to support small businesses and farmers and network with them. In the days of my grandparents farmers were not greedy and didn't try to get all the business and watch their fellow farming friends lose money. We aren't about that either. Us farmers are rare and becoming needed more and more. Big commercial operations would like nothing more than to see us all disappear.
