Do you know how much money breeders and fish keepers spend on water conditioners just to remove Chlorine and Chloramines from their water. The go to for us was always Seachem Prime. It removed both Chlorine and Chloramine as well as detoxified Ammonia, Nitrites, & Nitrates for 48 hours.. We were buying 2 bottles at a time and going through it like it was nothing. Once we realized how much we were using we decided to switch to Seachem Safe. A similar product at a higher concentration in a powdered form. The only problem was at first they didn't have a dosing chart for dosing in smaller tanks. Even now they do, you have to accurately measure the dose of safe with a gram scale. After much frustration, we found the answer in an easier to use scoop. We bought them wholesale to make sure all of the hobbyists could save money by switching to Safe. Get our measuring scoop for dosing tanks as small as 5 or 10 gallons today. You'll be glad you did. We put the dose in the tank itself and add the water fresh from our spigot.
How to use:
1/2 Scoop of Seachem Safe for a 5 Gallon Tank or 1 Scoop per 10 Gallons of Water. If adding directly to the aquarium dose based on aquarium size which is the fastest and easiest way.
If doing several tanks you can also get a container that will hold the amount of water you will need to change all of your tanks and and dose into the container itself. Then refill the tanks from the reservoir you premade. This saves even more than the first method. For us dosing directly in the tank is easier and faster.
