Backstory: Some of the Ross School's Innovation lab students are raising chicks in the school's EcoLab and we needed a small water dish.
We wanted a dish that the chicks would be unlikely to step in to help prevent their water from being contaminated.
We wanted to use a standard PET plastic bottle (here pictured with a "SmartWater" bottle we up-cycled. Note: The smaller water bottles are a little more stable and less likely to leak if filled to the top (too much pressure in the big ones).
And if you don't see any chicks you can see a short video here: https://youtu.be/GzNiKLl6jKE
Instructions
We've printed out two of these without support. One in PLA and one in ABS. Both with a high level of fill on an Ultimaker 2, 70% or better with a 0.2mm layer height.
If you don't have trouble with liquid leaking out of any of your prints then use whatever settings you find work best.
