This guppy is known by two names in the hobby. White Platinum or Sky Blue. This is due to lighting. When viewing the fish under poor lighting it looks to be a clear milky white fish head to tail. Under good lighting their body is a clear milky white color with a light sky blue tail. We obtained two versions of this strain in 2020. The first strain was from a higher end fish store that only orders males. Luckily a female was sent by mistake and we grabbed up a reverse trio. The second strain was obtained from a friend of ours. He was keeping them for his friend because his friend didnt have any luck breeding them. So he tried and also had no luck. We bought 1 male and 7 females from him hoping to have better luck. We quarantined them and then placed them with the reverse trio. A month later we had fry. With plenty of cover the fry survive. But without the fry would definitely be eaten. I think that's what problem they were having. We have had several batches of fry since.
